AGM info 2020 (Revised)
REVISION: Following the electronic issue of the AGM briefing pack earlier this week, we have received some constructive feedback on some areas of the proposed changes.
The committee and I felt that it was significantly important to address these concerns and update the briefing pack accordingly. Please disregard the previous version of this document and refer only to Revision 2.
For clarity, the amendments are:
- Proposal 3 has been removed
- Nomination of Proxy has been amended
- Attachment ‘A’ has been adjusted
- Attachment ‘B’ has been adjusted
- Voting Sheet has been amended accordingly
The AGM is still scheduled for the 5th December 2020 at 20:00hrs
We hope that these changes address the various concerns and any substantial variance from the rules, to allow the meeting to proceed virtually.
We look forward to welcoming you all via Zoom next month.
The 2020 AGM will be an online meeting via a Zoom this year, and all members have either been sent an email advising them of the revised information pack and voting sheet available here on the 20th November (where we hold a current email address) or will be sent the information pack by post where we do not.
The voting sheet will need to be returned by the 2nd December, and it allows all members to vote on each item, or to appoint the Commodore as their proxy, to vote in line with the proposals. The information pack contains the full details of how to join the meeting, and all the reports and items to be voted on.
Questions on the reports or any other matter must be sent in advance to be answered on the night.
