PMSC "Push the boat out"
Saturday 18 May 2019

An invitation to our non-sailing members

Have a go at sailing, canoeing, rowing and generally ‘messing about in boats’ at our Push the Boat Out Day on 18 th May.

Lunchtime BBQ

On Saturday 18 th May the Club is organising a special event for our non-sailing members to try their hands at cruising, racing, dinghy sailing, rowing and canoeing.

If you have ever wondered about the attraction of waterborne sports, or have never ventured onto the water before, or if you are ‘between boats,’ this will be an ideal opportunity to experience the joys of ‘messing about in boats.’

The event will be centred on the pontoon in front of the Clubhouse, where it is planned to have canoes, rowing boats and dinghies available to try under the guidance of our experienced members.

In addition, several of our boat-owning members have kindly offered short ‘taster’ trips on their boats and, for the adventurous, there will be a limited opportunity to take part in an actual yacht race.

Ashore there will be a lunchtime BBQ and an opportunity to talk about boat ownership, or general sailing matters, with some of our experts.

If you would like to take part, or require further information, please contact our Commodore, Mark Poppleton (This email address is being protected from spambots.
